International conference "Eurasia Final Conference"
On June 4-16, the "Eurasia Final Conference" international conference was held in the city of Bergen (Norway), where international cooperation issues were discussed and the results of projects implemented with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway were summarized.
Associate Professor of the Department of Finance Olena Primerova and Master's student Maria Tomilina together with project coordinator David Wheat presented the results of the joint project "Learning Economics with Dynamic Modeling" (2012-2022). As part of this project, the Department of Finance and the University of Bergen spent more than 100 students studying in Bergen, gaining experience in international communication and modern knowledge and skills. During the conference, they discussed the significance of the implemented projects for the participating universities and society as a whole, the issue of ensuring the success of the projects and prospects for further cooperation.

The modern economy and technological development form new requirements for graduates of economic specialties. Knowledge and skills of modeling and forecasting of complex financial and economic systems must meet the requirements of the modern financial market and financial system.
Therefore, we at the department of finance NaUKMA are trying to fill the curriculum with really important and necessary disciplines. Thus, 100+ NaUKMA students and 10+ NaUKMA professors have been trained in System Dynamics at the University of Bergen during 2012-2022.
The study of System Dynamics gives our graduates a modern tool of modeling, increases their competitiveness in the labor market, and allows them to perform complex tasks, regardless of their place of work. This can be the National Bank, and the consulting firm, and any production company.
Fourth Annual Research Conference
On December 10, the Department of Finance of NaUKMA in cooperation with University of Bergen and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv held the Fourth Annual Research Conference “System Dynamics in Economic and Financial Models”. Just incredible speeches, thorough research, interesting questions and comments. We look forward to seeing you next year.
Collections of System Dynamics theses
Collections of theses of the Third Annual International System Dynamics Conference are already waiting for their authors. Department of Finance thanks the partner universities - University of Bergen (Norway) and Lviv University for fruitful cooperation.
Every year we hold System Dynamics scientific conferences, based on the results of which we publish collections of conference participants theses. These collections are interesting and useful not only for students of Department of Finance, but also for the entire Faculty of Economics. Students and Ph.D students are happy to participate in these conferences and use their results for their term papers and dissertations.
System Dynamics seminar for Teachers
On October 31, 2019, professors of the Department of Finance Olena Primerova and Alina Novik held a workshop for teachers of the Shevchenkovsky district on the topic "Using the system dynamics method for teaching various disciplines."
