The first research System Dynamics conference

10 of December 2018 Department of Finance, NaUKMA in cooperation with System Dynamics Group, Universitetet i Bergen and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv hold The 1st Research Conference "SYSTEM DYNAMICS MODELING FOR PUBLIC AND CORPORATE FINANCE: BACKGROUND AND OPPORTUNITIES".

Delegation from Bergen University

 The working meeting between representatives of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and University of Bergen (UiB) (the dean of the faculty of sociology Knut Helland, professor David Wheat and adviser of UiB Eva Svensson, who is in charge of international relations) was held on May 15-16.

Joint project with Bergen University continues

The joint project of the Finance Department and Bergen University (Norway) continues for 5 years. During this period more than 50 students had a possibility to study for a semester of even year in Norway. In Fall semester 2017 11 more students of the bachelor program in "Finance, Banking and Insurance" started this incredible journey. Studying abroad is a great opportunity that gives chanse to improve the foreign language knowledge, experience the highest level of European education, broaden the mind. And cooperation of the Finance Department with University of Bergen allows for both study of the modern economic analysis and modelling techniues and exciting trip to one of the most developed and beautiful countries in Europe - Norway.

John Taylor Lecture

 On 18 of May, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy held a guest lecture of John Taylor - Professor at Stanford University, author of well-known "Taylor rule", a former senior economist and member of the Council of Economic Advisers to the USA President, and Deputy of the USA Treasury. The lecture was dedicated to the topic "The Importance of Independent Rule-Based Central Banks".
