Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA) is the only institution in Ukraine that went through the recognition process of correspondence with the international standards of financial education of CFA Institute of both bachelor and master programs in Finance at a time.
CFA Institute founded in 1947, is promoting the heighest standards of self-paced education and ethics in investment profession globally. Currently 550+ universities around the globe are recognized affiliated providing financial education in line with the Institute's high quality standards.
Cooperation between NaUKMA and CFA Institute has started in 2014 with the accession to the University Affiliation (earlier - Recognition) Program. The program allows professors of the university to continue enhancing their course materials and students of NaUKMA to be eligible for the partial scholarship allowing to prepare and sit the CFA® exams. Staff of NaUKMA also contains CFA® charterholder teaching finance related courses. Internationally recognized quality of financial education is highly valued in the professional environment around the globe which is part of NaUKMA's mission.
Cooperation with CFA Institute provides the the affiliated university with all three levels of CFA® program curriculum, online access to Financial Analysts Journal® articles, and exclusive CFA® Program sample exam developed specifically for affiliated universities.
Student teams of NaUKMA are taking part in CFA research challenge.
In October 2019, NaUKMA took part in the CEE University Summit in Budapest. The event was organized by CFA Institute in order to discuss its cooperation with the universities from the CEE region that are part of Affiliated University Program of CFA Institute.
